Wing Nut Socket?

Post by J.A.F.E. »

I just picked this up recently. It looks like a wing nut socket to me but I have been unable to find it in the catalogs bordering the 1950 date code. Part number is S-9459-B.

Can anyone confirm this?

I have seen sockets like that to open and close drain cocks on radiators also.
