Hi all, newby here.

I inherited a great deal of tools from my late Father in Law. There are a lot of Snap On and Britool, all in a Snap On toolbox.

I have tried to attach a picture of the box, which appears to have no markings relating to 'model' etc, but the size of the file is too large for this application to handle (needs to be less than 256K, are any photos that small?)

The box dimensions are: 26" wide, 14.5" high and 12" deep. There are 4 rows of drawers, with the top row being three separate drawers about 1" deep, second row is one drawer about 1" deep, the third row is one drawer about 2" deep and the bottom row is one drawer about 3" deep. It is red, with a cast Snap On badge on front top left.

I know that Britool have been a reasonably good quality outfit, at least I know that in the UK, but I am puzzled by the Snap On items, of which I have little experience.

There are Snap On spanners, sockets, punches, chisels, screwdrivers etc but some are USA made and some have 'Canada' on them. I am aware that 'Snap On Canada' is (or was?) a subsidiary of 'Snap On USA', but dont know if they were of comparable quality, or are they collectable at all?

I though with some 'web research' I would find the answer to that question easily, but not so.

Any views?

Thanks

SjH

Hey steviebobs,

I'm very interested in what you might have there. I'd consider re-patriating some of those Snap-on Canada pieces!

PM me!
