I want to introduce another Logo question.
These are 1948 Made in USA wrenches. Note the script style on the metric wrenches.
(edit- the 12mm is 1951)
this is the back of the wrenches, all 1948.
3 metric wrenches. top and bottom are 1948, middle is 1951.
to be continued in the next post

This 1s 1951 front
this is the back of a 12mm 1951
Not certain what questions to ask, but it's apparent the logo script that was on the earliest SAE wrenches was different than the early Metric wrenches. The 1954 metric wrenches have the normal script I'm familiar with. I expect that the 1945 sockets would have the script of the metric wrenches, but I don't have any to confirm with. I've seen Whitworth and British Standard with the other script, and I once had a cardboard case with an ink stamp from I believe 1946 that had that script. Any thoughts?
