snap-0n FV-71 3/8 ratchet

I bought a FV-71 3/8 ratchet from a flea market.I ask my snap-on rep if he can put a gut kit in it.He said it was government issue.My first question Is it gov issue? second how do you date I I cant find a code between the off and on switch.Any out can aleast estimate one? thanks jon

I was told years ago that Snap-on Military tools have no warranty attached to them.

that is usually true. you can order a kit on the snapon site. 10.50 shipped. kit number rkra380
