Trade: Sockets and ratchet from 1939/40 (UK/Worldwide)

Post by julian »

Hello,

I have a handful of vintage snap on sockets etc from the late '30s / early '40s.
I do *not* want to sell these, but would like to trade them for modern metric snapon (just spanners, sockets, ratchets - nothing esoteric : )

I am in the UK / Europe, however, have plenty of experience shipping all over (my work is cnc engraving, and the parts go worldwide)

sw-360 1 1/8
sw-340 1 1/16
dh-260 13/16
dh-240 3/4
dh-160 1/2
s-180 9/16

71-10 ratchet

This is my very first post here, but i have 'history' going back years on other forums, including verified trades etc.

Thank you,
Julian

Hi I'm in the UK.
What are the 'dh' numbers - sockets of spanners?

Located in Devon - about 25 mins from M5/J27

The parts are all sockets (apart from the ratchet handle).

This site (collectingsnapon) has details on the sockets... here is the link -

Hi Julian,
Thanks for the info. I'll have a look and see if I have a few modern(ish) sockets you might be interested in.
