MB-314A box question

I was wondering if I should restore this box or if it is worth more as is. If I do restore it, would I need Kenosha red or is it a different color red?
I was also wondering why this box isn't from Kenosha...any other info or history on this is more than welcome.
Thank you very much for your input,
Kurt

Just an opinion

I would not restore it, I would touch it up and let it go.

When there is a lot of rust, or the paint is in bad shape it makes sense to redo it. Also stripping and repainting or powder coating a box takes a few hours or a few hundred bucks. Either way, the box is worth $200-350 so putting $100-200 in it make little sense.
