VL-20 Chevrolet OHV spring compresspor. I believe it was made by clark feather. It is shown in my 1945 catalog but was prob available earlier.

I think it was offered from 1941 - 1945

I think the other answer is exactly right. It was an OEM tool made by a different company and they contracted for it. it carrier their name, but no date code.

Still - nice find, great tool!!
