Another one of my boxes wondered if this is a earlier one as it does not have draw slides?

Its got two nice transfers on it the last pic uploaded and the one on the front of it, it shows a pic of a long hanlded ferret, and if i had a very good camera not just a ipod you might be able to see under the ratchet transfer is the oval transfer can only see it as theres a bit chipped off. Anyone seen them transfers before?

That large decal is late 30s or very early 40s.

Oh right not seen it before does that mean the box is that age aswell or could the box be earlier? It looks that nice green colour alot better condition than the picture shows.

I think that box is from that era, that dark green paint was used then, decals were used then. the ratchet looks like a 71-15 which was in production at that time. would be a K-22 or K-23, depends on the size.

oh right thanks yeak its that styled ratchet, it is a k23 it has the same style lid and front as the k23 as the k22 has a flatter front i think thats right? Plus its 24 inch

the decal on the front of your box was added by the dealer or the customer - it is a water transfer decal, i have one that has never been applied still on the original backing and i also have another one that was applied to the inside lid of a small tool box - see pictures
