I have a complete '32,'33 Ferret set in the original box. How come you never see any of these listed for sale on any websites? I see alot of 1/2 drive stuff and even less 9/32 stuff. But you just dont see alot of the early Ferret sets? Are they that rare?

3/8 dr. from the early 30s are hard to find, esp. the set. I would call the set rare, the 3/8 dr sockets were thin, and probably did not hold up like the 1/2 dr. And this was the depression, just not that many sold. Does your's have Chicago stamed on it. Is it complete?
Post a pic.

Yes it is complete. All the peices are '33,'34 code but the speeder is a '31. The 6" extension is the only peice that is not period correct. It is a '46. Probably a replacement back in the day. Im working on the correct one. The 3/4 socket is in rough shape and the sliding T is a little dull, but I hope to replace them in time. I also have two '33 ratchets with the interferance fit cover. The box is decent shape, it is olive drab in color but does not say Chicago. Overall I think I did pretty good for $50! Let me know if you have any of these peices? Maybe we can work something out? Thanks Snapmom. I will get pics. up soon! Wife is the comp. guru!
