Moving to a retirement facility and don't know what to do with this set of tools collected in the late fifties. 90% are SnapOn. I don't want to put them on CraigsList or the bulletin board at the community center - sure would like for them to go to someone who would appreciate them for what they are, Tommy (The wrench shows the 1957 date code.)

Don't have a clue on their value, sorry. I was hoping this forum might help me with establishing a selling price.

Where are you located? Shipping something that heavy can be expensive and effect the price.

Could you post some more pics. of the wrench, socket, ratchets, etc.? Would you sell some individual sets? The box is to heavy to ship. It would have to go freight. Thanks, Ranger.

I've shipped several boxes by UPS, Fed X and Speedy Delivery. The lowest price I've ever paid is a dollar per pound and the most close to two dollars per pound. Even less if it's shipped to a business that is in a commercial zone.

Wow! If i lived closer i would make you an offer. I'm 16 and have a very strong interest in old Snap-On tools, I would definitely appreciate them, i would have them for the remainder of my life most likely. Im in New Jersey unfortunately. I have been collecting old Snap-On for about 5 years now and i love it! Looks like you have a very nice collection there.

Been really busy with the move so haven't looked here for a while. Where I'm at on the old tool box is I'm thinking I will include it in my offer to sell my Corvette.
Here's the craigslist listing:
https://austin.craigslist.org/cto/4322993993.html
I'm thinking I ought to add $500 to the price of the car for the tools.
Would anyone on this forum care to comment on this proposal?
