help!!! how do you remove the soft comfort grips off of ratc

Hey im David and this is my first post. I need your help, Id really appreciate it.
I have the FHBF80 Ratchet, Dual 80® Technology, Bent Flex-Head, Comfort Grip, 3/8" drive, 13 5/16" it has the red and black soft grip on it and id like to put the same grips on it but different color. Now id also like to do this on a 1/4" and a 1/2" flex head quick release. They all came with the same red/black soft grip. Please respond on how to remove and install the soft comfort grips without scratching up the ratchet or new grips. Thanks guys.

Hello. I had to have the guy on the truck do it. He has a special press on there that pulls the old one off and presses the new one on. They are on there pretty good!

For soft handles:
1: boil some water
2: put the handle of the ratchet in the water for about 3 minutes
3: using hot pads(the handle Will be hot ) hold the head of the ratchet in one hand and pull with the other hand on the handle
4: align handle and drive on with a deadblow

Never thought of that! I struggled the first time! Then had my buddy on the truck do it. Thanks for the info.

Im impatient and dont want to wait for the SO truck to come. I did hear from someone you could do the hot water trick. Just wanted to hear it from someone else though. Thanks guys.
