Blue Point made Whitworth combination wrenches starting in about 1938 thru about 1947. From about 1948 the name on the wrenches were stamped Snap on. There were two lengths, short and long. Seven pieces in each length. Model numbers/ sizes for the short were Woex-6A thru Woex-120 1/8w, 1BA, OBA, 5/16w, 1/4w, 5/16w, 3/8w. The long pattern are Woex-9 thru Woex-15. sizes 3/16w thru 9/16w. Most of these that show up have the war finish. Some of the Woex combination wrenches were also made for the Merlin Packard Rolls Royce tool kits from the war and are shown in a different thread, the attachment is: http://www.collectingsnapon.com/forum/v ... ?f=1&t=943

I assume they are much easier to find in europe?

I had a couple in my wrenching days, but they wandered off.

Lots in the UK., except for the Woex-9, it is very hard to find.
