It whould say close to late 40s or very early 50s. the reason is the / instead of the - in the snap/on name.

Where is your normal colored back grounds you use? The background you chose is awful bland.

I´ve seen similar logos on hammers from 60´s. This pic is from plastic head hammer 91-PH. Head is dated 1967 and the handle seems to be original for it. But when that handle was originally made, no idea.

maybe this chart from the Snap-on museum in Kenosha will help
they are labeled from the top 1995, 1981, 1963, 1950, 1948, 1944, 1939, 1923-1931
