Restoring a 1958 KR59

I am sure this question has been asked before,either here or other sites. I am looking for the proper color, hopefully in spray cans for this box. Thanks

Rust-oleum "Sunrise Red" is a very good match. Walmart usually has it, sometimes in the bonus can. Post a pic when you are finished.

Thank you snapmom. I knew you would know the answer.
I will post pictures when done. I did not take any pictures before
and its already sandblasted and I am now priming it.
Its in really great shape except sombody painted it orange
including all the emblems so there was no way of keeping it original.

Hello. I picked up a 1959 Kr59 this past fall for $75. It has some scratches and paint lose but no dents or abuse. Does your have the chrome on the drawer handles? Does it have dividers for the small drawers? Mine has both. The dividers were never used. They were still in a bundle like new. I just need to get a key made. Any idea what the value of these are? Mine does not have chrome on the handles.I do have slots for dividers but not the divders.
I paid 80.00 .

I recommend three coats of Sunrise Red, waiting a minimum of 72 hrs between coats. After each coat, wet sand with 1000 grit sandpaper. Even do this after the primer coat. You will get a mirror finish after three coats. Will post pics of some I've done when I get a chance.
