Logo Script's of early Snap-on Wrenches

I want to introduce another Logo question.


These are 1948 Made in USA wrenches. Note the script style on the metric wrenches.

Not certain what questions to ask, but it's apparent the logo script that was on the earliest SAE wrenches was different than the early Metric wrenches. The 1954 metric wrenches have the normal script I'm familiar with. I expect that the 1945 sockets would have the script of the metric wrenches, but I don't have any to confirm with. I've seen Whitworth and British Standard with the other script, and I once had a cardboard case with an ink stamp from I believe 1946 that had that script. Any thoughts?
