Questions on Vacuum Grip tool markings

Prior to 1946 did vacuum grip pliers have Snap-on marking also or did they have only Vacuum Grip only ?
Also how long did they carry both Snap -on and Vacuum Grip names ? Was the Vacuum Grip name discontinued when they closed the Newport Pa. plant ?
