F-140 - Factory or Custom Built?

Post by FrankLee »

I found this socket at an estate sale and could not find anything like it in a catalog. Is it home-made or factory or custom order?

Thanks!

Looks custom to me, i can see what appears to be a welding or brazing line.

I would think if snap on made it that way it would have a distinct model number, rather than f140.
