SNAP-ON....or Imposter??

Bought this heavy old brusier of a top chest last Friday at an estate sale for $40. Didn't strike me as being a SO chest, but I thought I better ask the gurus. The drawer slides attachment stops are in the middle of the rail and not on the ends like my old beater "topless" SO chest I gave $20 for as the previous owner had flipped it upside down after removing the top lid. SOME PEOPLE!!! Anyway I cleaned and flipped it back. Photo of the key may or may not help ID it, but the drawer handles are different and the top dividers don't match. I'd appreciate the help if there is any info out there amongst you.

I didn't get the photos in order like I wanted. The repainted blue box at the bottom is the one in question. The orangeish box is a shot of the topless box along with an incomplete Ferret set from 1948 sitting on top. The other photo is as good of a shot as I could get of the draer slide stop o nthe blue box.

HEre's a photo of the barn door linkage and the key, if that helps ID things. Thanks again
