In the 60s Snap on Canada made some of the Eaton Tecomaster tools, In the attached ad, check out the tool sets in the lower right side, and lets see if we can find an example. They sort of look like the par-x and blue point rats.

"A quote out of the Snap on Tools Canadian History Book from the era of 1960s. "an opportunity was available to supply a line of Tecomaster Professional Tools to the T. Eaton Co. In an effort to protect the Dealer force a new design was developed both for the handles and the sockets. This filled a void, allowed the factory to maintain their work force and avoid servere production cutbacks. Eventualluy the economy of the country turned around and demand on Snap on tools increased. Some dealers were voicing resentment against this "second line" Eventually Eaton was told that we could not longer supply them and production was converted to Snap on Tools" "

I believe AA has a pic of a ratchet with "Ford" stamped on it as well.

WrenchForce was marketed to bicycle shops. The Wrenchforce ratchet I have is internally identical to a F830.

What year did did they make Craftsman? Got any pics?

I think from what I have read that from other sites that Kobalt was made by Snap on at first, probably by the Williams line after Snap on purchased them. I don't have a Lowe's even remotely close so I could be way off, I have only seen a few sockets.

I remember seeing some Cummins red handled screwdrivers with black shanks that were Snap on. Some Harley Davidson tools and there was another bicycle manufacturer that had a small line of tools made by Snap on. I'll see if I can track that down. Well I see Wreckercologist beat me to it. Wrench Force was the name.

I am pretty sure all the Kobalt stuff was Williams. Snap on already owned the brand so they were indirectly SO.
