First timer, here, so I'm on my best behavior......I won an auction item at a high school shop auction last week and it had a Snap-On Torqometer RT-1600 with it's original metal box included. It needs a bezel for the dial, but I'd really like to know when this tool was manufactured and maybe how it was used ie. how to set the dial and measure the inch pounds properly. I could post photos if someone is really curious. Snap-On must've renewed the trademark for Torqometer a few times, as just looking at the ebay items for sale, there are a bunch of them out there.

I would like to see a picture. Normally Torque wrenches have a TQ in the name, so a TQS or a TQC, the RT part is a little confusing to me. RT means Reamer Tool to me.

Also, I don't know how new it is. The 1600 is a high number. The TQ-16 makes sense. So I guess I am not understanding that number. There is a Q-31600 Click type Torque Wrench. So the 1600 is possible, but most wrenches carry shorter numbers.

So I am not understanding the question (Or I just have never seen the wrench)

The rt I have is from the early 40s, so prob this one does too. What drive size is yours?
