I have this tool, Blue-Point Abrasive Disc Trimmer A-88 which is a cast iron, hand cranked disc trimmer. Selectable disc diameters from 4" through 8". The cutter is similar to a tubing cutter with a roller and sharp edged round blade. I will get pics as soon as my computer is upgraded this week.

No luck searching. No patent numbers or dates. Stamped "A-88-2" on top and underside.

Any ideas when it was made?

Rectangular alum label with blue ink:

Blue-Point
ABRASIVE DISC TRIMMER
A-88
Snap-on Tools Corporation
Kenosha, Wis.
Made In United States Of Amerca

Thanks in advance from a new member.

Hello,
I have a Blue-Point disc trimmer that matches this description. I don't see any follow-up posts to this 2012 posting which give additional info about this tool....I am thinking of selling this but have no idea of its value.
Anyone out there familiar with this oldie but goodie? I can post photos at your request.
Thank you kindly. :)
