retired navy vet and model t ford enthusiast. had to rejoin work force after housing bust put a damper on my retirement plans. now i work on local navy base in auto hobby shop helping our active and retired military folks work on their automotive projects. i have always used s-k and s-k wayne tools passed down to me as i grew up from my late father. i put my gov surplus snap on items together as my primary tools now that i am working again. recently i decided to get quality period tools to use when maintainin' lizzy to go with vintage ford tool items and some early plvmb tools i have acquired over the years. i probably wont become hard core early collector but desire to accuire enough to leave my nephew with a nice truck and enough quality "period tools" to make working on it fun after i am gone.
