Snap On Money Clip?

Snap On Money Clip?

I resently came into possession of my grand fathers tool box, in it I found a Snap-On 1/4" box end wrench, gold in color with what appears to be a money clip built into it. He past away in 1957 and the box has been stored since his death. I have not been able to figure out a date for this clip.

I think that it would likely be a tie clip they sell on ebay fairly regularly
