Hi All. My names Wayne from the south of the UK. 16 years ago i got into the motor trade working in a heavy commercial garage for my apprenticeship and once completed i moved into the Nuclear industry at a popwer ststion in the south east of england. As a technician i have spent 12 years working on and around Nuclear reactors and now have moved on within my company to team leader of another department. At work im off the tools, but i love nothing more than to get in there with all my Snap-On at weekends.
I travel to Car Boot Sales every week and have picked up some lovely examples of Snap-On tools. My most recent was a 1947 1/2 drive ratchet. Will post pics soon.It still works perfectly and infact u use it more than my new Half inch.
This week i have taken delivery of an 8 drawer kr277d cabinet. It has been neglected but im hoping to get it into working order. It only cost me £30 so im not too worried about the odd dent. The main issue is the lock and bars are missing. I have contacted Snap-On uk and am currently awaiting a reply.
Anyway, i look forward to reading all that is going on and chatting with other keen Snap-On users/Collectors.
Wayne.
