1934-1939 K-21 MechaniKit?

I have my uncle Eddie's tool box that was left to me when he passed in 2001. I searched all the catalogs and it first shows up in 1934 on the bottom of page 69. It's last shown in 1939 and also has what I thought was a home built roller unit but found it offered in the 1932 catalog RT-1 roller tray that fit all of that style hand held boxes. My first question is everything I have is exact in appearence, color, draws and trays except mine has no oval decals or any signs of them ever being there. There is an embossed Snap-on logo on the forward face under the leather handle that look like the 1920-1927 script style. The logo is also painted gold? Was there ever a military issue of this box? He was an WW-2 aircraft mechanic that they would actually drop to crash sites to remove certain equipment from the wrecks and usable parts if they weren't downed in hostile territory. I can/will post some pictures if needed or will help in identity. I'd like to clean it but don't want to hurt its value in any way. For being "dirty" it very "clean" as far as no damage or major rust. Thanks for any assistance. Rick B.
