Grandpa's tools......

Post by parris001 »

My wife's grandpa passed some years ago and when his wife passed earlier this year, the family finally started handing out some of the heirlooms. Lucky for me, we got the toolbox. I know grandpa worked on a lot of A Models and he even had his own Texaco station in the Green Hills area of Nashville in the late 50s and early 60s.

I've found three Octo-grip screwdrivers so far. And lots of quality old vintage tool.

I'd like help with ID on his old box. About how old, and a model number. Does anyone know if corporate Snap-On ever cares about any of these finds?

Even found his tool salesman's name in the lid........

Its looks like a K55R. would probably date to the early 40s. A nice item to get from your grandpa.

Three Octo-grips. I wasn't even aware these were Snap-Ons when I first saw them.
