In going through an old box of Snap-On tools that I bought from an elderly gentleman last summer, I found a rather unique socket adapter, an A-3-G. It appears to have a female side of 7/16" and a male side of 3/8" No search either here or on Google has produced any info on the tool, so do any of you know of it's existence?? It's currently part of an ebay auction if someone is interested in it. PM for more details. TIA

I measured the opening on the female end of this adapter and it's 9/32", not 1/4" My bad.

Snap on made 9/32 dr. from about 1925 thru at least the 60s. 1/4 dr sockets started in about 1944. So, you have an adaptor that was made in 1945. (G) code. Its was common in its day. Collectors like to find these, sort of hard to find items.
Thanks for showing it to us.
