1925 rat with a 1930 date code

A odd item. Its a about 1925 rat. (no hanger hole, no oil hole, factory stamping of the early rat) Has a 1930 date code. This supports the theory that the dealers stamped the early date codes. The 1/2 dr rat I have with no hanger hole, has no oil hole either, so if you have a no hanger, check if it has a oil hole.

My no hanger 1/2 rat. with IDF does not have a oil hole. Were did you find the 5/8 no hanger? Also my all '27 5/8 set has a beautiful rat. in the same condition as the rest of the set. Maintaining about 95% of its orig. plating. But the rat. has a '30 date code? The only non '27 piece in the set. Could this have been an early warrenty?

Just as a data point.
My 5/8 has a hanger hole and an oil hole, and someone has stamped a "7" on it.
