This was in my old tool box and I'm wondering when it was given with a set of tools. Maybe still is but would like to know more about it out of curiosity. It is 9/16" high and 3/8" wide. Thank you, Tommy

Through the years Snap-On Tools has given trinkets/awards to employees, dealers, end users and everyone at an entire plant. For instance when Snap-On was pushing the ill-fated “TQS” program everyone was given a TQS pin to ware.
The pin in the shape of the state of Iowa was give to employees of the Algona plant during the 35th anniversary of that plant.
The round pin with the Eagle was given when the Algona plant had reached a certain production goal. And if I remember correctly the Gold plated pin with the small Diamond was awarded to certain Plant Managers in 1989. In any case, some pins are very rare and some are very common. With the most common pins given to end users by dealers.

Your pin appears to be an end user pin given by drivers/dealers to regular customers beginning in the 1980’s and re-issued periodically, to date.

Thanks Snapmom, I sold all of them for $30.00 on Craigs list. I offered them here first but couldn't get a bite. As a matter of fact I've never sold anything here. Some lookers, no buyers.
