help identify socket WSW-106 5/8W

Hey Guys, I am new to the forum and impressed to find so much knowledge about great tools. I have had this 12 point socket for years and have always just assumed was mislabeled and just wondered if any one knows anything more about it. Now that I take a close look at it seams to me that it has a question mark on it. Has anyone seen that before? Also the size is incorrect this socket fits about 1-1/16 to 1-1/8th. What does 5/8W mean? It also has Made in USA twice Thanks MikeyDo

Whitworth (spanner) markings refer to the bolt diameter rather than the distance across the flats of the hexagon (A/F) as in other standards.

This Whitworth socket would have a nominal wrench opening of 1.10" Also, the "question mark" is a 7, and the date code for 1947. The double Made in USA is kinda neat.
