Re: Snap-on Indexing Ratchets (Discontinued & Rare)
I talked to a long time Snap-on dealer about them. He said there are 2 possible reasons why they are discontinued; each dealer sold only 1-2 every year &/or claims of a possible patent infringement. The only time they sold like hotcakes was when the word got out they were discontinued. I don't know.
He said STC made the Blue Point versions.

the BP's were made by SRTC and there was a patent violation, I believe there are documents available on the internet.Steven wrote:I talked to a long time Snap-on dealer about them. Don't they still make a version of these with a T handle and non locking, works like a sideways push pull deal?

I have the 1/4 drive. I looked it up on eBay, most are asking $100-$150.
