MT406 volt ohm meter batteries

I have a MT406 volt ohm meter that has damage from old batteries.I need
information on what batteries are required,it looks like two C batteries and two 9 volt type batteries.
I am not sure if the 9 volt type batteries were wired in series or parallel. I tried to get a schematic
from Snap-On but only a manual is available .
