I'm nearly certain it was a dealer installation.
Probably available as an optional purchase as well.
I found a double sided instruction for installing a fluorescent trolley light in a paperwork bag inside a 300.

My buddy has one sitting in his shop. The lamp doesn't work, but it's all there. I've asked him several times to sell it to me but he wants to hang on to it. Not sure where he got it. He doesn't have that roller cabinet.

Rusty can you share some pictures if you get a chance? Looks like some different styles in the old catalogs. Likely supplied to snap on by different vendors over the years.

The lamp appears to be identical to the pic. It's embossed "Snap-on" in the old script on the front of the shade. I'll take some pic's, but you will need to be patient. I'm in Florida and the lamp is in Canada. My friend is still stuck in the dark ages...he doesn't have a computer or a cell phone. I'll be back in the North in mid April when the snow is gone.
