Date codes

Hi all,
Hoping you could help me. I have what looks like a complete set of 7/8 drive wrenches. I understand from a Snap On sales rep that every piece has a date code. Well, I dont see a code on every piece, but I do see a "-7" on the wrench. Can you help me with the date? Also, some of the sockets have a number other than the size stamped on it. Can you help with that also?
Thanks much for your help.
Don
P.S. I can't seem to attach pictures. I go to "upload attachment" select the pictures, then click "add the file". Nothing happens. Any tips?

the -7 is 1927

what do you mean by 7/8 wrenches? (sockets) (ratchets)

you may have to resize the picture to a smaller size.

Yes, sockets, ratchets, etc. Was trying to minimize the typing since I am doing this with my big fingers on a small phone. Will try resizing pictures.
Thanks.
Don

The 4 socks. the three on the left, mid 20s, would not have a date code, codes start 1927. the sock on the right does not look old, looks like a industrial sock.

Most all the larger lot would be 20s. here is link to a date code chart. http://collectingsnapon.com/index.php?p ... te%20Chart
Nice collection.

I've got to move and I'm looking to probably sell them. Any idea of their worth?

OK, I'll do it.

what you have are fairly rare tools

but rare doesnt always mean valuable

the market for those is quite small as they are not really 'users' but more 'on the shelf for display' tools.

the good news is that many of the people who collect them are on this list, so you have found the right audience.

You might ask for offers by private message and see what comes up.

shipping might be an issue, where are you located?
