Your help is appreciated.

We are going through my Grandfather's tools and parts. Just so you know I am not joking-he was born in 1899, passed at 101 in 2001. He went to mechanics school in 1924 at McSweeney in Kansas City.

Under the bird crap I found a Early No. 6. Course Tooth Rathchet Adapter Patent # 1,443,413 as of January 30, 1923. This is Snap-Ons FIRST patent per this web site. Where can a value be found for these tools and more that he had in his shop?

Also-we have a bunch of Ford parts circa 1940-1965-bearings, coils, etc. in the original boxes. Who/what web site would you recommend for these values?

Thanks!

I am not aware of any site that list values. Value for old tools changes from day to day. Like the ratchet adaptor, it would sell from 25-75 with the avg. being about 40-50. so it would just be who wanted it that day. Many items can be looked up in completed items on ebay. If you could post a picture of the tools, there are collectors here that could give you the range of value. Plus we just would like to see them.
Thanks.
