I have a ratcheting cog adapter with a patent date stamped on it of P 1-30-23. By my research, this is one of very few ever manufactured, much less in functioning condition. Attatched is a pic. Anyone wanna gimme a ballpark figure on the value of this thing? ---- (5 min. Ltr) Correction: this is a No.6 1/2" Ratchet Adaptor, circa 1922-23. Beautiful Condition; Spring Strong; Rotates as Prescribed.

Depends on the amount of teeth, but sometimes the go over $100 sometimes under $50. The market at least to me seems down compared to 3-4 years ago. Need a pic

I would have said a little less - $75 - 100. But a cool tool

They are a nice early piece, but I wouldn't say very few manufactured. Several collectors have probably about 15-20 of them in different variants in their collections.

Yo, "agmechjake", I'm a manual man, near tech-illiterate, can't seem to post a pic to this site. Will gladly send an attatchment in an E, if ya wanna offer an address. I say again, however, immaculate condition: 15 teeth, top n bottom; strong spring; hell, the Snap-On stamping is still visible. Given, it's a used tool-it shows wear. But, honestly, gents, it's f'n beautiful. As an aside: even this site itself suggests "your item is likely worth 2 to 3 times any quote you might recieve". $75? Really? Find another-especially in this condition-you can acquire for "$75"

I have bought earlier versions, which are much rarer than the 15 tooth versions for $30-50 before, the market fluctuates A LOT. I probably have 8 or so of the version you describe in different sets and as spares. When I sell them to other collectors who need one for their collection, I generally ask $65-75 for them depending on condition. An item is only worth what someone will pay you, and this version comes up on ebay regularly, a few tomes every month, and go sell anywhere from $30-$75.

The is a lot of differences. The way I see it is a lot like Chad's opinion. I have 5 or 6 of them and I would sell them for $75

But hey, if you get more - great for you. Also buy as many as you can, they will only go up. In a better economy interest is higher
