Collecting Snap on Privacy Policy

When you use our services, you’re trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility and work hard to protect your information and put you in control. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can update, manage, export, and delete your information.

We provide 2 things, an information site to help you understand your Snap-On tools (pre-2000) and also a forum to communicate with others about Snap On tools Information Google collects.

We collect information in the forum in exchange for access and posting abilities in the forum. The information part of the site currently collects no information about you other than your visit, and a rough idea of where the server you used is (Country information). When you use the forum you provide a location, a name, an email address in exchange for login name and password. Ot rare occasions I do send out email notifications about website changes.  This has happened twice in the past ten years (rare). I also routinely ban emails, and IP addresses for people posting non-related posts (generally sex, drugs, and scam posts). I do this often and there is a zero-tolerance policy for this. It is rare (as never happened) when a tool enthusiast is filtered or banned. It is possible, but one must be pretty outrageous to have this happen.

When you’re signed in, we also collect information that about the time and post content. We also collect the number and timing of posts.

At this point in time (May 2025) this is the entire privacy policy and description of my use of your personal information
