degree of use of date codes on tools???
TO WHAT EXTENT ARE TOOLS DATE CODED.....I SEEM TO SEE A LOT OF WRENCHES W/O CODE!!!???

Date codes are pretty widely used from 1927 through WWII. If you look at the catalogs, you can see some tools are sold with no warranty. No date stamps are needed for these. Some tools are tool small or part of a set, it is possible there is no stamps
I see no stamps on pullers, screw drivers, GA tools, but sockets and wrenches are normally stamped
