O Series Open Wrenches

I have a question on snap-on "O" series open end wrenches. They seem to be close to the Blue Point "S" series with better finish and more refined. So far i have from 1/2 up to 1 1/16.I can't seem to find much information on them

O series are combination wrenches, Frank has a lot of info on these on his site. The S series comb. were special use.

The "o" series wrench i was asking about are open end wrenches.I can't find information about them.I hope the photos i have posted are bright enough.They are comparison of Snap-on "01618 to a Blue point S1618.I have collected this style wrench up to 1 1/16.I am still searching for a 3/8--7/16.

I cannot remember ever seeing those O model numbers, even in the cats. They are odd balls, I would guess they were specials. The wrenches you need, blue point or snap on.

to snapmom have you or Frank seen a snapon angle head wrench like the V >VS ser with PrNo AO2828 and heads have a 4side v shape like the Bonney i have a photo I have to find

I have seen a few, not sure why the AO was used. Might be hard to put together a set.

I have an AO1818 Snap on angle wrench that looks like a Cornwell style angle wrench.Fairmount also made angle wrenches similar.

Snapmom, those are military correct? Like the Snap on style but made by another manufacturer possibly due to a shortage?

I would think that they are military, due to the model number, but its odd to see a blue point military tool. No date code, which points to military. I would think these are 50s tools.
