Canadian Made Sockets

Post by J.A.F.E. »

Those who know me know of my affinity for the black band metric sockets. They were made in the 70's and possibly into the 80's. Imagine my surprise when I found these at the swap - not because they are the black bands (although they do not turn up too often here) but because of where they were made - Canada. Same part numbers for the 6 point 14mm - FSM 141, 15mm FSM151 and 16mm FSM 161 as the ones made here but these bear the mark Canada.

I don't know if they are rare everywhere but in southern California made in Canada and made in Mexico Snap-on almost never turn up.
