valve seat grinding tools

valve seat grinding tools

I found a blue point valve seat grinder set in the box. the grinder has breathed it's last, but some of the parts are neat and the box is quite cool.


I have ID'd all the parts in the box except for these two any help would be appreciated.


Blue point VS-90-J Ford V8-60


Blue point VS 90 Ford V8 85


I know they are for flat head fords and they look like valve guide tools, but I cant quite figure what their use is.

guides ford flatheads were two piece and when removed from block the hole was large there fore the big pilot.
smaller one is for a and b 4 bangers
