1960's Snap on MT631a Chargematic

Post by WickedMainer »

Anyone else have one of these? Are these valuable/collectable/uncommon? I have found virtually nothing on them except the catalog listings. I grabbed it from the dump, so it doesn't work. I plan to do some testing to see what might need to be replaced this weekend. I grabbed it because I like the looks of it and it fits in great with my 58'KR352 and 62' KR59. The KR352 has nice patina even though someone failed at a repaint on it many many years ago. The kr59 never saw the light of day until I bought it as it was still in what appeared to be the original cardboard box. It makes me lean toward adding the charger and KR352 to my list of complete restorations- not just a strip and rattle spray.
