Snap-on SV 15 18 inch nut spinner breaker bar

Post by leland powell »

I need help!! I can not find this breaker bar anywhere. It is a hair under 18 inches long. It is 1/2 inch drive. It is chrome It DOES NOT have a tapered handle. The handle has a total of 7 groves on it. 3-3-1. On the handle it has Snap-on SV15 USA.
I can not find that number anywhere. Snap-on will not reply to my question and I have gone through many old tool pictures. Can anyone tell me anything about what I have. I have a sn18L This is the same size but does not have a tappered handle and says SV15. I have pictures but they are too big to put on here.

Its a military bar. Probably from the 60s. Its hard to find. There are some rats and speeders with the same handles. The military tools do not show up in the cats. Most (but not all) of the model numbers that have the V as the second letter in the model number are military. There is an exception for some types of wrenches.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!! I should have asked before I wasted hours looking. I do live by an air force base and would bet that it came from there. They used to have surplus sales once or twice a year until about 1980.
Thanks again.
