1960's date codes
On this forum, the date code chart for 1966 and 1969 have the same symbol, just that one is upside down. On other date code charts the 1966 has a different symbol. I see stuff for sale called 1969, but the 9 is upside down which makes me think it is 1966. I have some 1940's stuff where the date code is just stamped on there any direction. I would think by the 60's it would be done by machine and straight. Anyone have any ideas?

66 and 69 date codes are confusing. Sometimes hard to tell.

I did finally decide to email Snap On for some info. They send me to the date code chart on this site. I guess that's the official chart.
