Need Date Code Help

Post by J.A.F.E. »

I just picked up this F1 extension and am a bit stymied on the date code. This does not look like the 43 date code and it doesn't really look like anything later either. Closest I can figure is it might be half of the 38 code as the result of a bad stamping or wear.

Anyone have any insight?

Looks like a lightly stamped "8" to me.
