Wrench with no marks

Post by JeepFan »

I have searched but not found this topic in this forum. Sorry if it is a repeat.

This sale on ebay looks interesting, and too good to be true at the same time. Anyone heard of this?

It was tempting, so I put in a couple best offers that were much lower, but they were refused. I did email the guy asking how he can verify it was a snap on wrench, but got no reply so far.

It is possible somebody snuck it out of the factory before it was stamped but if I am not mistaken they are stamped before they are chromed so probably a scam. I know I have got some sockets off the truck that have been stamped incorrectly.

Anything is possible, but we are talking snap on here. I would hope they would not release unmarked wrenches , but even if they did, no warranty...

I'm still playing around with this guy. I would like to lay this wrench next to a real Snap On wrench and see if it looks anything like it. Problem is, the guy has a real attitude and thinks he has something special. I put in some low bids half of what he is asking for and he is not acting happy about it.
