unusual socket help id
I have come across an unusual 3/8dr socket I cannot id , it appears to me late production, and is marked Snap on A137 USA. It has an elongated oval opening at the nut side, ? allen drive or carb/transmission specialty socket? I don't have a clue?

I have the answer, it is a shock absorber shaft socket 1/4 in oval 29/32 long. Now I know I can use this often and correctly. Thanks.
