K-77 Coaster Cab

Post by W1964 »

I recently acquired a K-77 box that was bought new in the late 1940's by a family member, now deceased. The skins on my box are bolted on with slot head machine screws and square nuts. The photos that I have found of other K-77 do not have these bolts and the skins appear to be welded.
What is the explanation? Is my box an earlier version of the K-77?
Your help will be appreciated.

I can't help on the construction part. Can you post a picture?

No, I have no idea how to upload a photo. Everything I read in the help section about BBCode is Greek to me. Also, it requires that my image must already be available on the web. I cannot meet that requirement.
Thanks for your response.

Bill, it is easy to post your own photos. You need to have them hosted on a public webserver. There are a number of such public servers out there, many are free to use (after registering for the service).

My personal favorite is www.photobucket.com , but there are numerous others out there if that doesn't strike your fancy.
