Ratchet date codes

Ratchet date codes

How do you date the flat/paddle style ratchets,similar to the modern FN720A style???I have a couple dozen,various different years,in 1/4,3/8,+1/2,done have date codes??Someone said these are military,but I have bought commercial ones,years ago,and they also lack date codes??Any info on this style ratchet??

Some of the rats, like the FV models are military, many of the military rats have no date codes, also there was a period in the 70s when many of the reg.rats had no date codes.
