Snap-on automotive electrical tester model NO. CGA-8
I found this along with some sockets that were dated to 1927 & 28. I can't find any thing about it online or in catalogs.

A photo from the inside, it has a single D-cell soldered in I'm guessing it wasn't originally soldered in.
This port is on the right side of the unit, what kind of connector is it and is it input or an output?
